Bamboo Terry and Bamboo-Cotton Blends

The current collection includes different textile compositions rather than one universal material.

• selected Patulove ponchos listed as 40% bamboo-derived fibre, 40% cotton and 20% polyester;

The presence of bamboo in a textile does not automatically establish the exact production process, environmental impact, absorbency, antibacterial performance or suitability for sensitive skin. These claims require product-specific evidence.

Review the complete fibre composition rather than treating “bamboo” as meaning that every part of the product is natural. A bamboo-cotton poncho may also include polyester or another manufactured fibre.

Understanding Textile Certifications

Some products in the current collection state that their fabric is certified according to OEKO-TEX Standard 100. This certification concerns testing for specified harmful substances under the applicable certification criteria.
