Our Story & Philosophy

Welcome to Gravitaly – a shared space for conscious childhood, beautiful
play, and meaningful family living.

Gravitaly was born in the most natural way possible – from my personal
journey as a mother and my desire to offer my daughter, Jovana, a world filled
with more meaning and less noise. Today, as she turns twelve and confidently
steps onto her own path, I look back and realize how vital those small,
intentional choices in her childhood truly were. Every shared conversation,
every touch of nature, and every carefully chosen toy has left its precious
imprint on the young person she is growing to be.

Parenthood is a deeply sensory journey, one that frequently teaches us to
realign our priorities. My own path brought me face-to-face with both the
challenges and the beauty of co-parenting – though Jovana’s father and I
navigate the parenting journey from different homes, we chose to build a bridge
of unconditional support and respect. I believe that our children's emotional
well-being thrives most when they experience peace, regardless of the structure
of their daily family life. This personal thread inspires us to create a
community where modern parents can find not just products, but true
understanding and shared values.

Slow Living and the Magic of Play

At Gravitaly, we believe in the pleasure of slow living and in every child’s
right to a genuine, unhurried childhood. In a world saturated with screens and
fleeting plastic commodities, we choose to return to the roots of pure play.

Our mission is to curate a selection of high-quality toys and materials that
inspire creativity, awaken the imagination, and nurture a child’s aesthetic
sense. That is why we choose partners who create with nature and the future in
mind.

Made in Europe, with Care and Responsibility

Most products at Gravitaly are made entirely in Europe by artisans
and family brands who share our ethical standards. A non-negotiable requirement
for everything that stands on our shelves is:

·       To be crafted from sustainable, renewable, and completely safe materials –
certified wood, organic cotton, and natural dyes;

·       To possess an "open-ended" nature, giving children the freedom to define
the rules of their own play;

·       To be created under ethical working conditions, actively supporting local European
economies.

THE WICKER STORIES - The ancient, UNESCO-recognized art of wicker weaving, refined for the modern sanctuary.

Rooted in the Podkarpacie region of Poland—an area celebrated for its centuries-old basket-making heritage—The Wicker Stories is a family-run atelier that has been handcrafting premium willow products since 1990. Their mission is to bridge the gap between traditional European craftsmanship and contemporary, sustainable living.

Working exclusively with ecological, locally harvested Polish wicker, master artisans meticulously braid each piece entirely by hand. This craft is so deeply embedded in the region's history that it is officially inscribed on UNESCO's List of Intangible Cultural Heritage. By combining these time-honored techniques with clean, modern lines, the brand brings a sense of organic warmth and texture into any interior space.

Whether it is a beautifully structured children’s toy or a functional storage accent for the curated home, every creation is fully biodegradable, highly durable, and completely unique. The Wicker Stories preserves a soulful craft, ensuring the magic of authentic, handmade European design thrives in your family's home.

Our customer’s reviews

Great bike - it is light and smooth yet sturdy. Feels safer than the metalic frame - lighter and smoother during falls for small children. What I also find very important is ergonomics, natural suspension, and bigger front wheel - safe for spine and correct posture on the bike. Absolutely worth the investment. Much recommended!
